Company Biography
Not long ago, Turbine Solution’s founder and director Mark Grinnage made the decision to develop a consulting firm after encountering many individuals and organizations that entered the world of business aviation ill-informed and unprepared. Most were new to aircraft ownership and knew relatively little about the industry. He felt this lack of knowledge and experience was cause for concern, and witnessed first hand the consequences of that knowledge deficiency. In other words, large amounts of time and even larger amounts of financial resources squandered and lost. He reasoned that by providing ‘technical consultation’ and other support services to a client' they would then be able to implement the best aviation system for their business. With a support staff specializing in various areas of the aeronautical industry, this company was designed from the beginning to be an effective tool to meet the needs of any aviation requirement. Turbine Solutions is a division of K.S.I Group LLC; a corporation that develops, supports, and manages other business divisions that include DoD (Department of Defense) aviation support, aviation security, unmanned aerial vehicle systems (UAV/UAS), and aviation logistical support.
Mark Grinnage has over twenty years of experience in the aviation industry, which involved working in various areas of aviation operations. Examples of such include aircraft & crew scheduling, equipment support, and part 91/135/121 operations management. He began his career as a pilot with an aircraft charter company. Later on, Mr. Grinnage served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force / Air National Guard and as a pilot for the state of Alabama. In the latter role, he was responsible for the air transportation of two former Governors, state officials, and staff. He would later work as a Captain for an airline for over 10 years, and as an ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) mission command pilot for a U.S. defense firm in the middle east. Today, in addition to providing aviation consultation services to clients, Mark Grinnage's current projects include ISR aircraft systems integration projections for the Department of Defense, and involvement with an industry think tank that is working with the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) to ensure a seamless incorporation of unmanned aerial systems into the extremely crowded national airspace system.
